Complete biomarker testing is an important step in determining the optimal treatment of newly diagnosed non-small cell lung cancer patients. Yet the complexity of the information available on biomarker testing remains a barrier to access. Guardant Health engaged Speaking of Science to create messaging and content that empowers patients to navigate the biomarker testing process. Using plain language messaging and intuitive design, we created a knowledge center to help patients learn what a biomarker is, understand how biomarker testing is done, learn how biomarkers are used to make treatment decisions and, ultimately, take action to ensure biomarker test results inform their treatment plan.
